Great place to buy chili sauce to go. You can buy it by the quart and then make your own chili dogs and fries at your house. Service people were very friendly and helpful. If you eat there...food is always delicious and made to order!

The chili that they use on their hot dogs is amazing! It's not too spicy, but it does have just enough kick to let you know it's there! Not to mention that their vanilla milkshakes are some of the best I've ever had! My family loves going here for lunch or dinner! Good stuff!

Our server was outstanding. The folks on the line were cheery. The food was great. The banana split milkshake was as fantastic as its name suggests! If you are hungry in downtown Hanover, skip the Famous and go to the Texas.

As a hot dog connesuer, I highly recommend this dive. Loved the vintage atmosphere. The Hot Dogs loaded with onions. The shoe string fries are the cats pajamas. The Staff is friendly. The meal is cheap. Afterward, take a stroll around the quaint town and enjoy the local shops. Getyasome.

A little side trip from our Summer Pizza Tour 2022...an awesome lunch today at Texas Hot Weiner Lunch in Hanover, PA. Cool little place. Excellent hot dogs. I got one with chili/cheese, one with cheese, one with mustard. Jason got two plain. Good tasty chili cheese dog. Fries were OUTSTANDING. Crisp and tasty. They carry Pepsi products.

If you miss the simpler times, and are craving some classic American food, come check this place out! This is the original location here since 1960! Our waitress Sue was very nice and she informed us she used to come here with her grandparents when she was young. It's so nice to see places like these are still around. I will certainly return again. Make sure you try the hamburger!

Food and prices are amazing. But the service lacks. I felt pushed out the door as soon as my wife and I sat down. We were in and out in less than 20 minutes. I wanted to try something but like I said I felt rushed so I said nah and paid the bill and left.
